Regina Hoyles
Regina Hoyles is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and actor, originally from the south suburbs of Chicago. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Regina is the founder of RLH Productions, a boutique production company that specializes in amplifying Black voices. Her directorial debut, Adullam, which she wrote, produced, directed, and starred in, received distribution on REVOLT TV’s anthology series, “Short and Fresh,” and won "Best Screenplay" at the 2022 inaugural Black Girls Rock! Film Fest, among other awards. She created NAPS, a comedic web series which was featured as a web series to watch by Shadow and Act. She produced films such as tender and Look Back At it directed by Felicia Pride and Welcome Home directed by Jo Rochelle. As an actor, Regina can be seen featured on The Chi, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, All Rise, and 9-1-1: Lone Star. Regina is a writer on a new animated Disney series called Hey AJ! She proudly serves as the Pre-Production Supervisor for the non-profit organization Black Girls Film Camp. She is the director of the short film MISSING RHYTHMS, a Black-woman-centered psychological thriller written by Aja Houston which is currently in post-production.
